My Husband Took His Pregnant Coworker Home. After I Got an Abortion, He Went Mad

When the blizzard hit, my husband left me at the bus stop, insisting on turning back to take his five-month-pregnant subordinate home.

I was freezing, collapsed on the ground, and begged him to save me, but he screamed at me, "Have you no compassion? How can a normal person like you be jealous of a pregnant woman?!"

What he didn't know was that I was pregnant too.

Watching his car disappear in a cloud of dust, I clutched my lower abdomen and laughed bitterly in despair.

I don't want this child anymore.

And I don't want him anymore either.

But later, when my husband found out I'd chosen to have an abortion, he broke down. He clung to my waist and cried, begging me, "Can we have another child? We'll have more children..."

I slapped the divorce papers across his face. "Get out!"
