After Practicing the Wrong Immortal Art, the Cultivation World Started Fighting Over Me

[Everyone loves her + Mary Sue + the whole cast burns with regret] A self-conscious, sensitive, love-struck, gloomy, scheming male lead x a stunningly beautiful and charismatic female lead who grows powerful and ruthless Men → female lead ← women: a true heartthrob, loved by men and women alike After Di Lin returns from seclusion, the entire cultivation world is left burning with regret. For centuries before she entered seclusion, she had roamed the cultivation world, carefree and flirtatious, leaving chaos in her wake. Heaven and earth were full of her new and former lovers. But after her retreat, she turned her back on all those admirers. One declaration that she had cultivated the Heartless Sword Technique shattered the hearts of countless men and women. They would gladly offer their lives to awaken her love and passion, unaware that she had glimpsed the secrets of heaven and experienced a prophetic dream. Looking at the people who had butchered her in that dream, Di Lin concealed the chill in her eyes. Since everyone was going to hate her and leave her homeless sooner or later, she might as well focus on the Great Dao and ascend as soon as possible. But cutting ties with the mortal world is no easy task. Her old lovers keep binding her and demanding marriage, while the men and women she has just met chase after her, insisting she give them a proper status. Their constant chatter leaves her no peace. To keep admirers at bay, she casually claims that she and the Demon Lord have pledged themselves to each other. That does the trick: every admirer around her disappears, chased off by that blasted Demon Lord. Looking at the Demon Lord, who is devoted to her, Di Lin decides she should tell him that the Great Dao is heartless and she will never love anyone. The Demon Lord smiles faintly and says, “All right.” “You pursue your Great Dao. I will keep watch over my goddess.” Before he became the Demon Lord, he had already held one person dear in his heart, and would die for her, again and again. Reborn into a new life, he carefully plans each step so she won't suffer the same fate. He will never let you be abandoned by everyone again, or die with your cultivation destroyed. He only hopes you will be adorned with glory and sever all love and attachment.
