Siheyuan: I, He Yuzhu, Transmigrate Fifty Years into the Future

He Yuzhu never imagined he would transmigrate into the world of the Courtyard, let alone become the He Yuzhu everyone was always taking advantage of. Even more surprising, he arrived unusually early, in the winter of 1950.

It was a pivotal year: the year He Daqing cruelly abandoned He Yuzhu and his sister. He Yuzhu was only fifteen, barely more than a child, while his little sister, He Yushui, was just five and knew nothing of the world. Their father left them behind without mercy, and it’s easy to imagine how hard life became for the siblings.

Fortunately, He Yuzhu was already an apprentice at Hongbin Restaurant. He had expected things to follow the original plot, with him gradually becoming a head chef while continuing to be manipulated and used by all sorts of people in the little world of the courtyard. But this time, He Yuzhu was different. He chose a completely different path.
