Against the background of slow global economic recovery and sluggish domestic economic growth, how enterprises can realize the "two-wheel drive" development model of technological innovation and institutional innovation, establish and improve supporting modern management mechanisms, actively respond to macro-environment and micro-market development difficulties, and achieve the transformation and upgrading of Chinese enterprises has become a hot topic in the business community and academia. However, there is a lack of case studies in the field of domestic enterprise transformation and development, both in quantity and quality. This status quo does not match the richness and variety of Chinese enterprise transformation practices. The Institute of Enterprise Development of Jinan University, as a key research base for humanities and social sciences among ordinary universities in Guangdong Province, is committed to promoting close cooperation between universities and enterprises. For the first time, it jointly conducted case studies with enterprises to fully explore the problems and experiences of Guangdong enterprises' transformation and development, refine and enrich the theory of enterprise transformation and development, and conduct open bidding for enterprise transformation and development case study projects across the province. The results of the case studies have been highly praised by enterprises. The Enterprise Development Research Institute has specially compiled the research results into a volume for reference by relevant experts and peers.
