My Food Was Poisoned, but I Ate It Right in Front of My Wife

When my wife came to visit me at the hospital, she flew into a rage and demanded, “You knew the food was poisoned, so why did you eat it?” I shrugged and replied seriously, “I poisoned it myself.” In my previous life, my wife's childhood sweetheart first deliberately prescribed the wrong medication to a patient, then stole a corpse. In the end, he even poisoned my patient's food, killing him. At the time, I was busy operating on another patient. When I finally came out, drenched in sweat, the police immediately put me in handcuffs. Just as I was about to defend myself, the police suddenly brought out a surveillance video. It showed that I was behind everything. I was utterly speechless, unable to refute it. In the end, the patient's family stabbed me to death right there in the hospital. Even as I died, I couldn't understand why I had become the culprit behind it all. When I opened my eyes again, I was reborn on the day my wife's childhood sweetheart poisoned someone to death.
