The heroine is the daughter of a merchant family who transmigrated into another world. She may be a wealthy legitimate daughter, but when she is forced to marry into a powerful family in someone else’s place, she has no say in who her husband will be. In the past, because the male leads in novels were handsome, rich, and powerful, people naturally assumed that when they fell in love at first sight, what followed was romance. This story is nothing like that. The male lead’s good looks and wealth only serve the basic purpose of making him someone she can bear to sleep with when they need to have a child. The leads develop feelings through the many little things they experience together. I can’t even tell you whether they’re “in love” by the end of the story, but I can say for certain that the feelings between them are deeply moving.
It was pretty good, just a little short, but the ending was pretty good!
Good looking, compact article
