I Wanted to Be a Divine Beast, but Got Captured, So I Switched to Being a Ferocious Beast

【Mystical Beasts + Corruption and Revenge + Retribution + No Female Lead + Wild Imagination】After the founding of the nation, no animal was allowed to attain human form for a hundred years! But when the century-long pact expires, Xiao Yan is reborn as the ancient auspicious beast Bai Ze and awakens the 【Curse-Bestowing Merit System】. Once he accumulates 500 merit points, Bai Ze's exclusive talent automatically unlocks: the ability to speak human language. To speak and survive in a world where curses fly everywhere, Xiao Yan has no choice but to embark on a path of blessing and saving people, doing good deeds to accumulate merit. But after he kindly saves 520 villagers in Lishui Village who are infected with plague energy, they turn around and report him to Bureau 502, leading to a plot to hunt him down. Xiao Yan's attitude changes. He returns the plague curse energy he absorbed from the villagers, but now they panic and beg for mercy. “No, I don't want to die! Great Immortal Bai Ze, I was wrong. Please save us! We promise never to tell anyone where you are again.” “Great Immortal, you're the kindest! Take the bounty, it's all yours! Save me! I'll never betray you again.” “That's right! You can still save us if you act now. Then we won't notify Bureau 749 or Bureau 502. Otherwise, today will be your last day!” Xiao Yan sneered as he looked at their faces, ravaged by illness. “Heh. Sorry, the auspicious beast you once knew is dead. You've driven me to become a ferocious beast. Now face the fate that was meant for you.”
