Ming’s God of War? No, I Am Zhu Qizhen, the Founding Emperor of Later Yuan

Young Zhu Zhen transmigrated by accident, becoming the Ming emperor Zhu Qizhen 500 years in the past. It was the year of the Tumu Crisis, and his life hung by a thread. But fate had other plans. Zhu Zhen activated the System, and history’s course began to change. Refusing to repeat past mistakes, Zhu Qizhen became the Ming dynasty’s retired emperor and, with the System’s power, resolutely ventured deep into the grasslands, determined to carve out a realm of his own. Both wise and courageous, he used modern knowledge and the advantages granted by the System to gain a foothold on the grasslands and steadily expand his influence. After years of warfare, Zhu Qizhen finally united the land. He not only restored the Great Yuan, but also ushered in a new golden age. He declared himself the “Sacred Ancestor of the Great Yuan,” turning the wheels of history in a stunning reversal. In the afterlife, his ancestors watched in shock and disbelief. Zhu Yuanzhang was furious: after all his hardship restoring the Han Chinese realm, his descendant had now turned it back into its old form and even posthumously honored him as the Ancestor of the Yuan and Ming. Zhu Di was surprised, but also displeased with the title of “Yuan Taizu” bestowed upon him by his grandson. Zhu Gaochi was greatly comforted: his grandson had become the founding emperor, bringing glory to the Zhu family. Zhu Zhanji, however, was livid. The Ming realm he had protected had become the Great Yuan, and he had never imagined that his own son would become the Ming dynasty’s greatest enemy. Facing the accusations and doubts of his forebears, Zhu Qizhen could only smile helplessly. He knew his path was destined to be different, and there was no need to explain himself. When he was pleased, he was the pride of the Zhu family. When he was not, those so-called ancestors were merely remnants of a former dynasty. In this new world, he was the true king.
