The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: The Rescue Plan

The protagonist is a fan of The Grave Robbers' Chronicles who loves its characters. He has always been haunted by the deaths of Yatou, Yuncai, A Ning, Pan Zi, and Zhang Haixing. He wishes they could have had different endings: Yatou could have grown old with Er Yuehong, A Ning could have ended up with Wu Xie, Yuncai and Pangzi could have found happiness together, Pan Zi could have escaped his constraints and eased Wu Xie's regrets, and Wang Xiaoyuan could have dodged the bullet, survived, and lived happily ever after with Li Cu. But after searching through every fanfic, he couldn't find one that satisfied him. Then, one day, as he opened a copy of The Grave Robbers' Chronicles, a flash of white light suddenly sucked him into its world, where he began a series of rescue missions.
