In the Last Year of Her Life, She Stopped Falling for Him

[A cringeworthy old work. Don't read.]

[Fake sweet, obedient kitten × aloof, flirtatious boy]

(Main story complete) One afternoon in the second semester of her sophomore year of high school, Lin Song was cornered by three thugs. She clenched her teeth, and out of the corner of her eye caught sight of Liang Yun, who had just returned from a fight and was watching her with amusement.

She asked him irritably, “Enjoying the show?” The boy raised an eyebrow and casually helped her finish the fight.

After that, rumors spread around Miancheng No. 2 High School that a delinquent boy was relentlessly pursuing a sweet, obedient top student and had finally won her heart. Only the two of them knew the secret of their mutual devotion.

After the college entrance exams, Lin Song went to England for the sake of her heart condition, and the two eventually broke up. But every year on her birthday, she received a gift from China, signed “Ai Song.”

The gifts were small, but they were the only thing that gave her a reason to keep falling in love.

Three years later, Lin Song returned to China and unexpectedly ran into the boy again at home. Their paths quietly crossed once more.

At twenty-one, she fell for him all over again, but she also became his sun forever.

She had wanted him to live forever in the light, but she couldn't hide the heart that wanted to beat for him one last time.

“I want you to live well. Don't live for just one person.”

“If you choose the moon, I'll be your sun and keep you in the light forever.”

“I have only three wishes left.

First, I want to be buried among the green hills, resting alongside my country's mountains and rivers.

Second, I wish you a peaceful life, as boundless as the green hills.

Third, may everyone who loves me be loved in return, and may they remain with the green hills forever.”

May we meet again someday, among the green hills.
