Dream of the Red Chamber: The Sequel, Transmigrating as Lin Daiyu

“Zijuan, I'm fine. My head is just still a little dizzy,” Lin Yu said, doing her best to imitate the Lin Daiyu she remembered. Zijuan quickly helped her lie back down. “Miss, get some rest. I'll bring you a cup of tea. You fainted this time, so we must make sure it doesn't leave you with a lingering illness.” With that, she hurried out. Lin Yu lay on the bed, her mind awhirl. She recalled the plot of Dream of the Red Chamber and thought about what she should do next. Just then, she heard footsteps outside the door, followed by a clear voice. “Sister Lin, I've come to see you.” The door opened, and a girl in pink walked in. She was pretty, with lively eyes, and it was none other than Shi Xiangyun. Shi Xiangyun came to the bedside, sat down, and took Lin Yu's hand. “Sister Lin, I heard you fainted, and I was so worried. How are you feeling now?” Looking at her, Lin Yu felt a rush of warmth. After all, in the original novel, Shi Xiangyun was one of Lin Daiyu's friends. She smiled faintly. “Sister Yun, I'm much better now. I'm sorry I worried you.” Shi Xiangyun frowned. “Sister Lin, you've always been delicate, so you need to take good care of yourself. If anything happened to you, Brother Bao would be worried sick.”
