During her first week rotating through the emergency department, 23-year-old nursing intern Su Yan meets Jiang Cheng, a 20-year-old brought in after taking an overdose when his depression relapsed. In the course of treating him, Su Yan discovers that the patient is the junior she secretly loved in high school, the gifted young pianist who once dazzled everyone at the school arts festival.
