Wu Shou’an transmigrated to the Great Ming in the twelfth year of the Hongwu era and activated the Censor System. All he had to do was impeach Zhu Yuanzhang or the civil and military officials to earn System rewards. “Ding! Congratulations, Host. Your successful impeachment of Hu Weiyong has earned you the skill of a master copyist!” “Ding! Congratulations, Host. Your successful impeachment of Zhu Biao has earned you five hundred shi of grain!” “Ding! Congratulations, Host. Your successful impeachment of Zhu Yuanzhang has earned you blueprints for manufacturing flintlock guns!” … After that, whenever Wu Shou’an attended court, he kept impeaching officials and collecting System rewards. The civil and military officials of the Great Ming court trembled with fear and dared not attend court. “Censor, please, stop impeaching people! Spare our lives!” Zhu Yuanzhang said, “Wu Shou’an, you’ve impeached every official in the Great Ming, and we’ve killed all the corrupt ones too. What more do you want?”
