Ultraman Series One: Nemesis

The first installment in the Ultraman Trilogy, featuring the main pairing of Zero and Belial as destined enemies. Belial and Zero are more prominent as a pairing early on, but the story ultimately centers on Zero and Belial. When did everything start to change? Could the proud Dark Emperor tell love from hatred? Was it the frustration of having his plans foiled time and again by that upstart? The burning desire to grind that detestable brat underfoot? The urge to gather the helpless, vulnerable child into his arms? Or was it that he wanted him dead? The story had been written long ago. Hero and villain were destined from the start. “Zero, we are destined enemies, and we will be enemies forever.”
