Synopsis

“Who am I?”

That question had always lingered in Yu Xichen's mind.

He had no family, no friends, and no old man hiding inside a ring.

Alone in this vast world.

In this unfamiliar land, he found friendship again and lived like an ordinary person.

Of course, he also recovered his memories of the past.

He was Yu, and he was Yu Xichen.

She was Hua, and she was Fu Hua.

They were each themselves, yet not themselves. They could each be themselves, and yet they could each be someone else.

What, in the end, had one civilization's struggle and five thousand years of vigil brought them?

Should he start over, taking on a new identity and beginning a new life, or shoulder the responsibilities he once bore again?

When all was settled, how should he face the person he used to be?

They meet, then part; frost traces gather upon the grave.

Three altars by the sea; he risks his life to face disaster.

Purple lightning and the morning star; fate is not his to command.

Three bows to the mortal world; smoke fades, and the tea grows cold.

The road behind stretches far; do not forget, do not cling.

The enduring lamp burns on; its spark becomes a raging flame.

A drawn sword can be sheathed, but those who leave cannot be brought back.

After ten thousand years of wandering, here is where we return.

I did not begin it, but I shall bring it to an end.

The long road is not yet over; a thousand years have left much unsaid.

Those who come after must remember: keep searching your own heart.

Looking for Books in the Honkai Series

Looking for anything from the Honkai series that's readable. I don't care about ratings, and crossovers are fine. I just want something to pass the time, with reasonable values.
