Dangerous Seduction

[Funny, beautiful, struggling novelist VS seemingly gentle doctor who is actually a cold, abstinent assassin]

Shen Huanli was a little-known mystery novelist. One early morning, she went to the seaside to clear her head and stumbled upon a standoff between two groups of assassins.

The black muzzles of their guns left her mind blank. As she tried to run, he deliberately fired a shot by her feet. She fell to the ground, and the man crouched in front of her. His low voice was as eerie as a ghost’s. “How much did you hear?”

Shen Huanli shook her head frantically, tears streaming down her face. The man chuckled. “Too bad. I only trust the mouths of the dead to keep a secret.”

She fainted from fear. He carried her back to his laboratory and hypnotized her.

Later, by chance, Shen Huanli made an appointment with a therapist because of her insomnia. The man was tall and slender, with a face as bright and clear as the moon. His hands had long, distinct knuckles. He was exactly her type. Little did she know that the man before her was the assassin she had seen last time.

Unaware of the truth, Shen Huanli found one excuse after another to visit the doctor. Then she accidentally witnessed the gentle Dr. Jiang calmly killing someone. She fled in panic, but he still caught up with her.

“Miss Shen, since you’ve seen me, how about I take your eyes this time...”

Overcome by terror, Shen Huanli fainted dramatically in Jiang Huai’s arms.

“Ha, what a coward.”

P.S. My nightmares were torn apart, and you came to me through the light, saving me from a life of sin.
