Love Amid the Sea of Stocks

A Love Story in the Stock Market tries to portray stock trading without simply recounting the process of buying and selling shares. The author was a stock commentator on Chinese online finance forums 18 years ago, and at the time founded the Jiangnan Finance Forum website as a platform for analyzing individual stocks. Today, the author has returned to the identity of a university literature student from the late 1970s, using literary techniques to write a novel about the stock market. The result should be a refreshing change.

A Love Story in the Stock Market is a companion novel to Men and Women in the Stock Market. This 200,000-character novel uses its words sparingly to tell the story of money flying everywhere, love, and enmity among the older generation, including Song Chengzu, Jiang Qingrou, and Lai Lili, and the younger generation, including Chen Liangcai, Song Tingting, Song Wei, and Song Gen. Set against a wealthy family's fortunes, they are managers at Tianfu Securities in Furong City. In just 200,000 characters, the novel paints a sweeping picture of the extraordinary events that befall two generations as they revolve around the securities business.

Come on in and read. The willing will take the bait.
