Falling for the Deliveryman

Zhang San was born into an ordinary family. Both his parents were hardworking wage earners. He was mature for his age and understood how hard his parents worked, so he studied diligently, hoping knowledge could change his fate. But fate always seemed to enjoy playing tricks on him. In Zhang San’s senior year of high school, his father suddenly fell ill, and the family’s financial burden grew heavy overnight. To pay for his treatment, his mother spent all their savings and ran up a considerable amount of debt. Seeing her grow more and more haggard filled Zhang San with pain and helplessness. He knew that staying in school would only add to the family’s burden. After thinking it over carefully, Zhang San decided to drop out and find work to help his mother shoulder the pressure. His mother did everything she could to dissuade him, but he had made up his mind. After leaving school, Zhang San began looking for work everywhere. With no qualifications or work experience, he could only take on manual labor. Eventually, he found a job as a delivery driver. The work was hard, but at least it paid enough to get by. Every day, Zhang San rode his electric scooter through the city streets and alleys, delivering all kinds of packages. His conscientious attitude earned him praise from many customers. But he never imagined that one delivery would change his life.
