A Voice from Another World, and the Whole Internet Falls for Me

(A wild premise inspired by Zhou Shen) Sometimes I wonder what I would be like if I suddenly found myself in a world without Zhou Shen. Here is the novel’s synopsis. When Shen Nian hit the lowest point in life, Zhou Shen’s songs pulled him out of the darkness. After saving up for half a year, he finally made the trip to a concert where tens of thousands sang along. Once it was over, a crushing wave of withdrawal hit him. When he opened his eyes again, he had somehow been transported to a parallel world with no Zhou Shen. (How was he supposed to live in a world without Zhou Shen?) Here, the music scene worshipped deep, powerful voices, while delicate, ethereal vocals were mocked as abnormal. The teenager whose body he had entered was being ostracized and looked down on for his unique voice, and his musical career was on the verge of being cut short. Staring at a song list with not a single word on it, Shen Nian gripped the microphone. If this world had no beacon to light the way, then he would bring the songs himself. His debut performance made him an instant legend, his ethereal voice captivating the entire audience. He turned the tide on a competition show, delivering face-slapping justice to everyone who had mocked and judged him. Every OST he sang became a hit, winning over men and women, young and old alike... Shy yet earnest, gentle but resilient, he had an unassuming sweetness that made people fall for him at first sight. Every song he sang held a longing that crossed worlds. In the end, through his own efforts, he changed the tastes of an entire world and became the music scene’s one and only shining star. (Zhou Shen really is a wonderful person. If anything in my story makes you uncomfortable, you can leave. Please don’t attack me, thank you.)
