Zombie Crisis: Protect

As the captains of Teams One and Two in Z Country’s counterterrorism special police force, Jiang Wu and Shen Mu have barely managed to get some time off when disaster strikes. A terrifying virus spreads, driving people mad and making them attack and devour one another. They have to protect themselves while constantly keeping an eye on those around them, because humanity is more terrifying than any monster. Jiang Wu and Shen Mu have been childhood friends, growing up together and fighting side by side. They understand each other perfectly, able to communicate with a single glance. Shen Mu’s feelings for Jiang Wu have been more than friendship for years, but Jiang Wu is too clueless to realize it. Her obliviousness always leaves Shen Mu laughing in exasperation. Yet as they escape one disaster after another, Jiang Wu realizes that she couldn’t go on living if she lost Shen Mu. Only then does she understand: she is in love with him. In the midst of this senseless calamity, they stand together through every danger. Along the way, they encounter all kinds of people, unmask humanity’s ugliness as they fight to survive, and gradually uncover the truth behind the disaster…
