Crossover: Roaming the World with Xia Xia

A rookie's second-generation System brought a college student into the Investiture of the Gods. After the student spent ten thousand years hustling, sneaking around, and keeping their head down, they finally completed the “beginner” quest. After lying low for ten thousand years and changing species along the way, the college student turned back into an egg and was tossed into the deep sea, refusing to reveal anything about the new world. Reborn as an egg, the “Eggling” had to work hard to hatch and explore this new world on their own. They never expected to fish a “big black rat” out of the water as soon as they reached the surface. Just after healing the “rat,” they received a quest from the useless rookie and realized with a shock that this was actually The Pit-Digging Notes. And just as the “Eggling” had steeled themself to keep sneaking around and hustling, they discovered that their neighbor was a certain ferryman... Tsk. Is this world a distortion of the Queen Mother of the West, or the moral decay of the ferryman? “Good heavens, Li Li, catch him! He's been running wild in King Lu's tomb for a thousand years!” But this black rat... maybe... should I take him with me? Check out the author's new book, Covering the Heavens and Shrouding the Sun, a crime-investigation novel with two male leads.
