Powerful, composed, scheming, loyal top × emotionally detached, possessive bottom
When Xia Yuqiao was eight, his parents died in a fire. At fourteen, he was taken into the He family by Mrs. He, his mother’s close friend.
At nineteen, Xia Yuqiao was a well-behaved young man in the eyes of his elders, and an unfathomable person in the eyes of the eldest He son.
At twenty, He Pingsheng first met fourteen-year-old Xia Yuqiao. The gloom in the young boy’s eyes shook him to the core.
At twenty-five, He Pingsheng had gone from finding Xia Yuqiao unfathomable to holding him dearer than anything else. Only then did he understand the suffering the boy had endured.
