So Sweet, So Sweet

[Jing Jin and Ruan Jing] [Childhood sweethearts + school life + secret crush + devoted couples] The male and female leads are childhood sweethearts, and they also have three close friends. The story revolves around the two leads. The heroine has a secret crush, and the friendship between them is rock-solid. The story is full of twists and follows them from high school through university. It’s about more than romance: friendship and family are part of it too. A record of the best days of youth. The male lead is slow to realize his feelings for the heroine, but the two naturally end up together. Jing Jin looks at Ruan Jing and pats his thigh, motioning for her to sit on his lap. “Don’t you think things between us are getting too flirtatious? We did hold hands a lot as kids.” Jing Jin gives Ruan Jing an amused look. “When did you start thinking we were flirting? Don’t tell me you like me now.” His voice carries a hint of temptation. Ruan Jing lowers her head, embarrassed. “Can you stop being so shameless?” Jing Jin’s eyes are sincere. “No. I’m shameless, and that’s that.” “Could you stop listening to him? He’ll trick you.” “What about you? Would you trick me?” “I’ve never felt like I could lose you, because I’ve never had you in the first place. From the moment I wanted you to be mine, I couldn’t bear to hand you over to someone else. I won’t let any man come between us.” The umbrella in his hand tilts toward Ruan Jing, along with his heart. If love is the surrender of free will, I’m willing to swallow the love potion you give me.
