After her soul transmigrated, Ah Yin's wandering spirit accidentally ended up in the cultivation world, where it looked like she was about to be wiped out body and soul.
Ah Yin: “...Is there still time to save me?”
Heaven's Will: “Little girl, if you want to live, I've got a task for you: find Luo Qiling before he finishes cultivating, then shatter his demonic heart.”
Ah Yin: “Easy!” (waves a little whip) (hits herself) (collapses with a thud)
(Silence) (speechless) Heaven's Will: “New task. Just make his demonic heart waver. But if you fail, you'll spend your next life as a pig!”
Ah Yin: (smiles confidently) “That'll be a piece of cake.”
Then Luo Qiling promptly killed her.
Ah Yin thought she'd be sent to the neighboring world to live as a pig, but when she opened her eyes again, she had been reborn.
Heaven's Will said gravely, “The Canglang waters have stirred, disrupting the order of time and space. You have a new task.”
Ah Yin: “What is it?”
Heaven's Will: “Save Luo Qiling after he turns villainous and falls into demonic cultivation. Make him into a normal person who understands love. Most importantly, make him stop destroying the world.”
Ah Yin: “…”
#This villain is no ordinary monster#
#You know he's not normal either#
#Why not just turn me into a pig instead#
Luo Qiling had forsaken love and all emotion. Everyone believed it, including Luo Qiling himself.
But on the day she died, Luo Qiling abandoned the immortal path and entered the demonic path, plunging into the endless purgatory.
He crossed countless bones, bobbing in the River of Forgetfulness, and searched every inch of the three-hundred-mile Yellow Springs.
The underworld shook, evil spirits wailed, and the immortals on both banks turned pale with fear.
Everyone said Luo Qiling had gone mad.
Only Luo Qiling knew he was simply trying to find someone again.
His wife, his... Ah Yin.
