The Upheaval of the Seven Kingdoms

Qin Shi Huang unifies the seven kingdoms. Between 230 BC and 221 BC, Qin Shi Huang Ying Zheng used a series of political, military, and diplomatic measures to conquer the six feudal states of Han, Zhao, Wei, Chu, Yan, and Qi, ending centuries of division among the rival states during the Warring States period and achieving the first unification in Chinese history.

After unifying the seven kingdoms, Qin Shi Huang introduced a series of reforms and measures, including establishing the commandery and county system, standardizing weights and measures, and building the Great Wall. These measures had a profound influence on the development of Chinese history. The unification of the seven kingdoms marked the beginning of a new stage in Chinese history and laid the foundation for the development of China's politics, economy, and culture.
