Honkai: Star Rail: But by the Name of the World

[New author] [Contains original characters] [Slightly chuunibyou] [Errors will be corrected] [Please be kind] Note: This is not the same as the Anti-Entropy novel. Please don’t read it as though it were the Anti-Entropy visual novel. I’ll do my best to keep the characters true to their personalities, but they may differ, so please bear with me. “I took the whole world into my arms.” “Gazing up at the stars that filled the sky,” “only then could I hear their voices.” “And the whispers of the gods.” “Only then did I understand that I was the world’s darling,” “and also its castaway.” When the stars streaked across the wretched night sky, the ideals of the masses were finally set free. The thoughts of geniuses gathered in my mind, and so I came to possess the whole world. I was the one who set them free! I was the one who gave those ideals a home! It was me! I saved the world! But what did I get in return? I’m only a vessel, a shadow of another “world.” What was it all for? “…Welt. W.E.L.T.” “What?” She smiled faintly, her tone gentle. “I think that name suits you.” A strange look came over my face, but my mind naturally understood what she meant. “…Whatever you say.” Ω stands for W, and Welt means world. For a lost and bewildered person, it was rather amusing that the world’s castaway should take that name. “Add one more... Joyce.” “Does that make a difference?” “No, it’s just the name of a writer.” The strange genius smiled, and one thing had to be admitted: Welt Joyce had, for the first time, gained the world.
