Consort, Don't Come Any Closer!

A spirited young general sees his family slaughtered. He endures hardship and bides his time, becomes the princess's prisoner, and lies low as he plots a rebellion. In secret, he and a young widow, whose life has been struck by one upheaval after another, find solace and companionship in each other.

Yet the dignified, proper, reserved man has a bloodthirsty glint in his eyes. “Is my love really so pathetic, so repulsive to you? Go on, pretend! Pretend to be gentle, considerate, and concerned for me! Go on! Why did you stop pretending?” In despair, he pressed his lips against hers, purple with bruising.

The heroine has no cheat abilities.
