You Were My First Love

I suppose every girl has had an experience like this: at the age when feelings are at their purest, simplest, and most passionate, you fall for someone wholeheartedly, without considering any other conditions.

Su Xiaoxiao was lucky. Nie Zhao was her first love in her teens, the one who made her heart flutter in her twenties, and the person she liked and loved in her thirties. Though they spent several years apart, they witnessed each other’s growth, from awkward, innocent youths to steady, mature adults.

After leaving school, their love remained pure. There were no material temptations or worldly judgments, only sincere feelings and unwavering choices. They were the most important people in each other’s lives, facing life’s ups and downs, difficulties, and challenges together, and sharing both happiness and pain.

Love can mean many things, but to Nie Zhao, love means Su Xiaoxiao, the one and only Su Xiaoxiao.

This is a story about first love, filled with one hundred percent sweetness and one hundred percent bittersweetness. As you read, you may find it stirring your deepest memories.
