Synopsis

China's five thousand years is a magnificent historical scroll. The ancient land of China gave birth to the brilliant dawn of civilization in prehistoric times. From the footprints of ancient humans such as Yuanmou Man and Peking Man to the Yangshao Culture and Longshan Culture of the Neolithic Age, the wisdom and creativity of our ancestors are demonstrated. During the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, the state took initial shape. The Xia Dynasty initiated the hereditary system, the Shang Dynasty had a highly developed bronze culture, and the Zhou Dynasty implemented the enfeoffment system, laying the foundation for traditional Chinese culture. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, feudal princes contended, hundreds of schools of thought contended, and schools of thought such as Confucianism, Taoism, and Legalism flourished, injecting diverse vitality into the development of Chinese culture. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, China achieved great unification. Qin Shihuang unified the six countries and established a centralized system. The Han Dynasty had a strong national power, opened up the Silk Road, and had frequent foreign exchanges. In the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, despite frequent wars, cultural integration continued to deepen. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, China ushered in its prosperity. Politically enlightened, economically prosperous, and culturally prosperous. The establishment of the imperial examination system provided a new way for talent selection. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, science and technology developed rapidly, and the four major inventions had a profound impact on the world. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the feudal system declined, but it still made certain achievements in economy, culture and other aspects. In modern times, China has gone through many hardships. Under the invasion of foreign powers, countless people with lofty ideals rose up to fight and explore ways to save the country. After arduous struggle, New China was finally established in 1949. Today, China is developing rapidly in various fields such as economy, science and technology, and culture, and is moving towards the goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
