The Present Me Looks Toward the Past You

Reverse: 1999 fan fiction

(No CP, no harem, no System, no transmigration, little romance, few power-trip moments)

In the drizzling rain, a dark figure stood beneath the trees beside a high-voltage fence, watching a hand reach out through the door and grasp a vivid green tree frog.

She raised a hand to shield her eyes from a streak of white light amid the clouds. Her gray eyes trembled, and a look of disgust appeared on her face.

"Timekeeper, Timekeeper?"

A familiar voice lingered by her ear, but she did not turn around, because she knew that person had long since been buried.

"Timekeeper, do you like that white glow shining through the dark clouds?"

With a soft sigh, she lowered her black top hat and was about to leave when a sharp shout suddenly came from behind her.

"Stop!"

She turned to look. The principal stood beside her, with a security guard aiming a gun at her. But both of them wore looks of shock and disbelief.

"Vertin!?"

"No. I'm Shadhamu Tiers."
