Chronicles of the Dark Journey to the West

Synopsis:

Once, Sun Dasheng wreaked havoc in the Heavenly Palace, his fame shaking the Three Realms. After becoming a Buddha, he discovered that the Tathagata Buddha had once again released his uncle, the Roc, into the mortal world to wreak havoc, while the gods turned a blind eye as their subordinates killed people and massacred villages. Rage blazed in his heart. Without hesitation, Sun Dasheng once again rebelled against the Heavenly Palace, challenging its authority all by himself.

The battle plunged heaven and earth into darkness. Though Sun Dasheng possessed great divine powers, he was no match for the combined might of the gods, and in the end, his soul was scattered. Yet his legend did not end there.

Rescued by his former master, Patriarch Bodhi, the last fragment of Sun Dasheng's consciousness was sent into the mortal world, beginning his journey through reincarnation. There, he would face new challenges and opportunities, with an unknown fate awaiting him. Could the former Great Sage Equal to Heaven find himself again amid the mortal world and reclaim his peak? An astonishing journey of rebirth is about to begin.
