A few days ago, a set of memories appeared in his mind. The river of time had fallen into disorder, and his past self had arrived in this timeline. But he had accidentally barged into a human girl's bath and taken liberties with her. As it happened, the Water Prince knew the girl. Before the God of Time fell asleep, she had chosen this human to inherit the authority over time. He had seen her twice before and never imagined that the little child would grow up to be so beautiful, beautiful enough to make the Water Prince's heart stir. The Water Prince waited and waited by the Pure Water Lake, but the wronged party never came to confront him. Instead, the river of time fell into disorder once again. This time, his past self had gone much further than before. Once time returned to its proper course, the Water Prince remembered that he had failed to win her heart and had instead hurt her. Overcome with guilt, he began the long road to winning her back. When she was young, Lanyue chanced to meet Xiao Yeye and glimpsed the mysteries on the far side of the world. But she was frail and often ill. On the brink of death, she made a pact with the God of Time to survive: she would temporarily wield the power of time and maintain its balance. This bound her to the fairy realm in countless ways. While repairing a timeline, Lanyue met the Water Prince from the distant past, and the two became entangled in a complicated relationship they could neither sever nor resolve. Using the Ye Luoli setting, this tells the story of Shui Mo in a previous life. Wang Mo's previous-life name was Lanyue. It brings Eastern high martial arts into collision with Western magic. All the other human characters in the main story are original, and the timeline is set two thousand years before the original plot, in a fictional high-martial world.
