Falling for You Again

[Marriage first, love later + wife-chasing crematorium + entertainment industry + mutually devoted 1v1 | rushed ending]

For three years of their family-arranged marriage, Su Qingqing was always Fu Hanxiu’s stand-in for his first love.

There were even love letters he had written to someone else tucked away in the wardrobe of their marital home.

Su Qingqing had given up on this marriage long ago.

The day she asked for a divorce, he pulled her onto his lap and turned off the tablet she had just used to vote for her idol, soothing her: “Stop making a fuss.”

The next day, she packed her things and left home.

When word got out, everyone in high society laughed at her for being foolish.

After spending three years as a caged songbird, trying to escape the cage was a dead end.

Instead, Su Qingqing invested in an entertainment company and made over a hundred million.

In less than six months, she had become the richest woman in town, with a horde of handsome young men flocking to her.

On the day the entertainment company went public,

the high-society wives gazed at Su Qingqing, resplendent in jewels, then compared her to their out-of-shape husbands beside them. Their envy was practically dripping from their eyes.

Who could have guessed that Su Qingqing would sigh, “Money is great. You can trade men in whenever you want.”

-

Then one day, someone saw a handsome man pin Su Qingqing against a wall,

coaxing and pleading with her in a low voice, again and again.

Fu Hanxiu pressed her against the wall, the corners of his eyes reddening, his voice hoarse.

“You’ve been the only one in my heart from beginning to end.”
