Zhu Gaoxi, the fourth son of Zhu Di, the Ming dynasty's Yongle Emperor, devoted himself to studying Daoist classics from an early age, displaying extraordinary talent. He also mastered two of the Eight Great Skills: Spirit Binding and Commanding, and Divine Mechanisms, Hundred Refinements.
In truth, Zhu Gaoxi had no desire for the throne, but the founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, whom he summoned, insisted that he should ascend it.
As it happened, Zhu Di unexpectedly witnessed an auspicious sign symbolizing the nation's prosperity, allowing him a glimpse into the future of the Ming empire and the fate of his descendants.
A vision of his eldest son Zhu Gaochi's future revealed that although he would inherit the throne, he would tragically die of obesity soon after taking power. Meanwhile, his second son Zhu Gaoxu would narrowly escape being boiled alive?
And what of Prince Wei Zhu Gaoxi, who had no desire for power and wished only to live in peace? Would he too be drawn into the turmoil, despite outside **?
It's so imaginative. I want to have a different Ming Dynasty.
