The Origin of the Precepts

The male lead, Yan Xun, grew up at the Qingshan Welfare Home. After graduating from high school, he tutored others to earn money for college. Before the school year began, he returned to visit the director of the Qingshan Welfare Home, only to find that the home had collapsed, revealing a stone-lined passage. After confirming that the director and the children were all safe, he summoned his courage and ventured inside. Along the way, he found a dark, unremarkable ring. It transported him to a thousand years in the past, into the Mirror World of Blue Star, where he met the female lead, Zhen Feng. There he learned that the dark ring was called the Yang Source Ring, while Zhen Feng possessed the Yin Source Ring. Zhen Feng told Yan Xun some of the Qingshan Welfare Home's secrets, and explained that after obtaining a Source Ring, he would need to find spiritual treasures to replenish its energy. For the first time, Yan Xun realized that cultivation was real in the world he lived in. From then on, the two set out in search of spiritual treasures and embarked on the path to immortality.
