[A story about being doted on by the whole family. The author is terrible at naming things and can’t write a synopsis, so please bear with me.]
Everyone says Duan Muqian is a spoiled princess who can’t take hardship or being slighted, and is lazy and overbearing.
Her childhood sweetheart fiercely defends her: “I spoiled her! I’ve treasured and pampered Qianqian since she was little. As long as I have it, if Qianqian wants it, I’ll give her everything I own, even my life. Anyone got a problem with that?”
Her best friends and roommates all fire back: “So what if she’s spoiled? So what if she’s lazy? So what if she can’t take hardship or being slighted?
“She doesn’t eat from your pot or shelter under your roof, so why do you care so much? Do you live by the sea?”
Her CEO boss: “She’s such a remarkable girl. If she were willing to do nothing but cuddle up to me, I’d wake up laughing from sheer happiness. That would be a blessing I could never ask for.”
As for calling her overbearing:
If you’re the one who started flirting, you’re the one in the wrong. If you’ve already thrown yourself at her, why shouldn’t she get a little overbearing with you?
Whose rule says otherwise?
P.S. I can’t change the tags, but I didn’t actually choose this many when I started.
This is mostly an ensemble story. Duan Jiaojiao is the only main character; everyone else is there to accompany her as she grows. She’s the author’s darling daughter, you know how it is!
As for the wealthy CEO and doting husband stuff, just think of those as free extras. Don’t take them too seriously.
The writing is good, light-hearted and humorous, and not heartbreaking to read.
