Welcome to Ouran High School

Ouran Academy is an elite private school where family pedigree comes first and money comes second. One day, Haruhi Fujioka, an ordinary student admitted to the high school division on a scholarship, is looking for a quiet place to study when she stumbles into the school's Third Music Room. It's the clubroom of the Host Club, led by Tamaki Suoh and devoted to entertaining women.

Haruhi has no interest whatsoever in the Host Club, but an accident causes her to break a vase said to be worth eight million yen. Forced to join the club to pay off the enormous debt, she becomes its “errand boy.”

Then, when Haruhi's glasses come off, the club immediately decides to give her a glamorous makeover and make her its seventh “male” host. She must entertain a hundred guests to pay off her debt.

And so Haruhi is forced to hide the fact that she's a girl. Thus begins the story of an ordinary girl at an elite school and six handsome hosts.
