So You Hate Me

[Short Tragic Romance]

They met, as if destined to. Their hearts stirred, as if caught off guard. But the sparks of a scorching summer were destined to fade when the cicadas stopped singing.

“Please remember me. My name is Huan Yan.” The girl smiled as she handed Jiang Tianle a bottle of sparkling water.

“Tianle, please forget me.” When they said goodbye, she still wore a faint smile and the same beautiful outfit she’d worn when they first met. The only difference was that there was no sparkling water in her hands anymore, just a box filled with everything he had ever given her.

“I heard you really hate me?” Unwilling to give up, Jiang Tianle gently took Huan Yan’s hand and asked.

“Yes.” Huan Yan didn’t look up, but her answer was firm. It hit Jiang Tianle like an explosion. Because of her, he’d taken to his bed and fallen seriously ill. When he gradually recovered, his personality had changed completely.

Time passed. By chance, he learned something he couldn’t believe, and went to Huan Yan’s home to ask her the same question again. “Yan Yan, do you really hate me?”

He’d gotten his answer before, but this time, when he asked again, all she gave him was silence, so deep he could hear his heart breaking.
