Behind the bustle of the modern city lies a secret few know: the ancient martial arts traditions never died out, but have been passed down through modern society in a far more secretive way. When a mysterious meteorite crashes to Earth, spiritual qi revives, and Han Feng’s dormant ancient bloodline slowly awakens.
The protagonist, Han Feng, is an ordinary white-collar worker in the city. After being laid off, he returns to his hometown and sorts through the belongings his grandfather left behind. Among them, he finds a jade pendant passed down from his ancestors. The pendant turns out to be a spatial treasure containing the ancient martial arts manual Dragon Astral Art. From then on, he embarks on the path of cultivation. Resolute and just, he nevertheless carries a heavy burden because of the mystery surrounding his origins.
This book is well written and I hope the author will continue to work hard.
