Possession, Dream Theft, and Transmigration: Saving You in Your Dreams

The protagonist, Lin Yu, is an ordinary office worker and engineer. To uncover the cause of his wife’s death, he is willing to put his life on the line. Then a strange encounter changed his life completely. One night, after falling asleep, he was trapped in a dark, distorted dream. He found himself in an abandoned old hospital, its corridors dimly lit by flickering lights. The air was thick with disinfectant and the stench of decay. Suddenly, a blurry figure slowly emerged from the darkness and approached Lin Yu. When it came into focus, he saw a woman with a twisted face and empty eyes. Her body was half-transparent, as if she might vanish at any moment. The woman spoke in an eerie voice: “I will rule your dreams.” Then she instantly possessed Lin Yu. A freezing force seized control of his mind. He tried to struggle, but couldn’t move. The scene before him began to change rapidly. Blood seeped through the hospital walls, and screams of anguish came from the end of the corridor. He was forced into a patient room, where an old operating table stood. A bloodied figure lay on it, its face unrecognizable. The possessing woman made Lin Yu pick up a sharp scalpel and slowly approach the person on the table. He was terrified, but powerless to stop her. Just as the scalpel was about to come down, Lin Yu jolted awake, drenched in sweat. Yet he could still feel that terrifying woman lurking deep in his consciousness, ready to appear again at any moment.
