Dreaming Back to the Tang Dynasty: A Legend of the Golden Age

Xia Mengqi is an ordinary office worker striving to get by in a bustling metropolis, commuting day after day between towering office buildings. The mundane burdens of life weigh on her, keeping her constantly on the go and working hard. Though her life is like a still lake, calm on the surface, deep within she holds a quiet sense of contentment. In every spare moment, she immerses herself in the distant, enchanting world of historical romance novels. Those stories steeped in antiquity seem to come from the other side of time. The legends of gifted scholars and beautiful women always soothe her weary soul like sweet dew. As she reads those ancient tales, she often imagines crossing the boundaries of time and experiencing that poetic, romantic age for herself. Yet she never expected that this seemingly unreachable fantasy would quietly become reality one ordinary day.
