The Imperial Examination

The examination hall was packed, with everyone seated.

I clutched the wooden strip hidden in my sleeve, covered in answers. My palm was already soaked with sweat.

After today, if I pass the imperial examinations and come out on top,

But this is my first time smuggling in answers, after all.

It's only natural that I feel a little uneasy.
