Eerie Mythos: I Rule the World of Mortals

(An era of grand cultivation and cosmic horror, man-made mythology, no harem, no formulaic tropes, a slow burn, more suffering early on and more payoff later, no System, no mindless protagonist, and plenty of major twists) “Child, you don’t see this world with your eyes. You see it with your heart. Close your eyes. Look up at the sky. What do you see? The sun? The moon? The stars? Look more closely. They’re eyes. So many eyes, belonging to ‘them.’” “I’m sick. I really must be sick. A blind man with no eyes who can see everything. A dead neighbor who walked right through a locked door. I can see what they can’t. I can hear what they can’t. My name is Gao Linjun, a madman by society’s standards, or perhaps the only sane person left. Everyone is lying to me! Lying to me!”
