As a little whale who never wanted to come ashore, she tries to keep the newcomer, a two-legged creature, penned up in the sea.
Whenever the two-legged creature builds a house, she wrecks it. Whenever they plant vegetables, she pulls them up. Before long, she has become a fish so obnoxious even dogs can’t stand her.
The brazen fish who wants to eat anything sets her sights on the human captain she should never covet.
The little whale asks, baffled, “Captain, can’t I really eat you?”

The little whale takes the bait. “What happens after the trade?”
The human captain warns her, “You’ll turn into sea foam and disappear forever. Think carefully. I’m no good person.”
The little whale drools. “Deal! It’s not like I’m a good fish, either!”
Gradually, the little whale discovers she has a special ability: whatever she eats, she can turn into. She becomes the human captain to collect supplies openly, a snake to scare the other crew members, and a rabbit to hide. The little whale sheds a little blood, and the whole planet flourishes to an almost supernatural degree. One drop makes the vegetables she grows two meters tall. Two drops produce sea snails whose shells are big enough for people to live in. Three drops make roses bloom on deer antlers... And so this wondrous new planet comes into being.
The humans are both worried and delighted. “Can a fish really do this? No, can we humans really have this?”
“What’s this planet called?”
“Will. It’s humanity’s future.”
It's not a popular language style nowadays, it's very similar to the interstellar exploration novels I encountered when I was still very literary. The narrative is actually very slow and flowing, like exploring flowers in the mist, but it can calm an agitated heart and allow you to immerse yourself in reading. I like this story.
