Welcome, Lord of the Rings fans! If you're not familiar with it, you can still enjoy this!
What sparks will fly when transmigration, Middle-earth, Chinese style, and modern firearms come together?
New readers might want to read Bonus Chapter 4 first!
I'm sure Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series has left many of us with a lingering sense of what might have been.
Tolkien once began writing The New Shadow, but stopped the sequel, saying, "I could, of course, write a story about human nature and 'conspiracy,' but in fact, it would not be worth doing." That has always left me wanting more.
I first got the idea of filling that gap back in high school, and this book is what I wrote to do it.
The history of the Fourth Age, spanning more than thirteen hundred years, unfolds on the page. Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs return, and alongside the races from the original works, I've added new ones: the Haegorins, the Giant Orcs, and the White Lions.
The Reunited Kingdom of Aragorn's house, the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor, the Woodland Realm of Mirkwood, the Kingdom of Dale ruled by the great archer Bard, the descendants of the skin-changer Beorn... These kingdoms and peoples will write their own glorious histories in the Fourth Age.
Familiar characters such as Radagast, Gandalf, Legolas, and Elrond will return, while heroes from the ancient ages, including Turin, Tuor, Hurin, Feanor, and his seven sons, will reappear in Middle-earth.
The Dark Lord Sauron, Morgoth, and the new Dark Lord I've added, Dandas, will converge on Middle-earth.
Tom Bombadil, Barrow-wights, the Mewlips, the Were-worms... These mysterious characters will appear one after another.
I'll do my utmost to tie up all the loose ends Tolkien left behind.
Welcome to the Fourth Age
The writing is okay, but the time point and the final boss are very confusing. Many people know it from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Books that are far away from these two time points will not have a wide audience.
It's rare to see Chinese characters, and it also has a history of thousands of years as the background. It's very interesting. It's pretty good-looking at the moment. There are no poisonous points. I don't know why the data looks a bit miserable😄😄😄
It's a good book. Although the description of the war scenes is average, the flaws do not hide the flaws. It can be read as a follow-up to the book written by Mr. Tolkien. I just don't know why no one reads good books, and they don't even get ratings.
It feels like Lord of the Rings, author, come on.
The writing is so beautiful, good luck to the author👏
It is a relatively rare follow-up article about Middle-earth. There are flaws, but the flaws do not cover up the good points. It is considered a relatively good Chinese-earth article.
It's good. The Twin Sacred Trees are finally resurrected.
Very well written!! A great author! Recommended for everyone to take a look😊
It's a perfect sequel after watching The Lord of the Rings. It's worth recommending.
Come on author, it's very beautiful
