From the Start, the Government Gave Me a Wife? Rising from Poverty

Multiple heroines + multiple story arcs + deep emotional storylines + intricate plotting + protagonist's growth + wuxia + fantasy + alien civilizations. The early plot drags a bit and feels like an ordinary transmigration to ancient times. Once you get past the beginner village, there's not a dull moment. If you're impatient, you can scroll down and skip straight to the chapter with the title, but the early part lays the groundwork. The story really comes into its own in the middle and later stages, so please be patient. I'm begging you, seriously! It only gets more exciting as you keep reading. I've got the plot mapped out and am working hard to write it. The protagonist's growth is absolutely insane!!!!!!!! After choking to death on a chicken, I transmigrate into the body of Lin Yu, a poor scholar in the Great Xia dynasty who shares my name. He has only his young sister to rely on. Though born into poverty, he refuses to bow to fate. Watch Lin Yu turn the tables against all odds and rise from humble beginnings, only for his origins to be revealed as he enters the upper echelons... But is that all fate has in store for him? From being murdered by his sworn brother to becoming a peerless martial hero, Lin Yu endures repeated failures and heartbreak before finally understanding his own heart. Then an alien civilization that has been pulling the strings all along emerges. What can he rely on? Five thousand years of Chinese civilization and his companions. To preserve the civilization they have now, he must risk everything... Want to know what happens next? Please be patient and read to the end.
