Earth 2065: The Rise of Twin Stars

In 2050, an alien envoy from Alpha Centauri arrives on Earth with super-advanced technology. Using its high-tech capabilities, the envoy brings the president of the Earth Federation to heel, and the two sides sign a strategic cooperation agreement. In exchange, humanity allows the Alpha Centaurians to establish a base. However, things soon take a turn. Humanity discovers that the Alpha Centaurians have deceived us under the guise of technological exchange, plundering our resources and scientists, leaving Earth's technology to make almost no progress over the next decade. The Earth Federation then declares war on the Alpha Centaurians, but is ultimately routed due to the vast disparity in strength. Forced to compensate them with half of Earth's resources, including its labor force, humanity signs an armistice. Earth, too, becomes an Alpha Centaurian colony in the Solar System.
