I am an ancient Yinglong, unmatched in dignity.
In my previous life, I formed a bond with Lin Ruoruo to repay her kindness.
After bonding with me, she plucked out my protective dragon scale and gave it to a water-snake demon to play with.
She tossed my dragon blood into the Deification Pool to nourish the man she loved.
In the end, when countless gods and demons from the upper realm invaded, she ignored the endless flames of war engulfing her sect.
Taking advantage of my weakness, she betrayed the sect and tried to trade me for a chance for that water snake to ascend.
I have returned to the day we chose our spirit beasts.
Without hesitation, I walk toward the girl who gave her life to protect me in my previous life.
Lin Ruoruo thinks I chose a good-for-nothing just to spite her.
The people of the sect are just as baffled.
I curl my lips into a smile.
This time, I'll show her what it means to be heaven's favored genius, the hope of a sect.
Who becomes an immortal,
It's all up to me!
