I Have a Little Tavern in the Siheyuan

Li Jianwen unexpectedly transmigrated into a lively old courtyard, where he became an ordinary resident. The moment he entered this world, the System endowed him with the powers of wine, women, wealth, and worldly pleasures. As his starting reward, he received a small tavern. Rather than mix with the other residents of the courtyard, Li Jianwen quickly moved out. He wanted nothing to do with their depravity. After leaving, he happened upon Xu Huizhen and the wealthy Chen Xueru working at his tavern. He resolutely brought them into his life, beginning a happy existence with no limits. As the years passed, Qin Huairu died of illness, Silly Zhu perished beneath a bridge in the bitter cold, Bang Geng was still hard at work in the outhouse on New Year’s Eve, and Yi Zhonghai shivered in a sealed prison cell. As business at the tavern steadily flourished, Li Jianwen’s life grew more and more relaxed and comfortable. Then came Ding Qiunan, Tian Runye, Zheng Juan, and other women. Li Jianwen began to realize that this world was far more complicated than he had imagined.
