Dr. Miracle

This book lays out the main plot and structure of the Doctor universe. It tells of the Doctor’s thrilling and delightful adventures with his friends on Earth. As they face catastrophic crises brought on by alien invaders, they come to understand themselves and the natural world, and seek the truth and meaning of life. They then use that understanding to resolve crises and maintain the balance between Earth and the universe. Along the way, they travel through the cosmos and visit worlds and universes shaped by diverse cultures. They encounter vibrant forms of life and civilizations, and discover the resilience and limitless potential of life beneath the darkness of the barriers between universes. In short, it is a wondrous fantasy journey full of bizarre sights and landscapes of every kind, aboard the Doctor’s precious “living” spaceship. Put simply, it is the Doctor’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (the “sea” being the starry cosmos; “twenty thousand” simply means a great many leagues), or the Doctor’s journey across light-years.

The Doctor is a steady, occasionally eccentric, somewhat hot-blooded and foolish, slightly humorous oddball from a future Earth in a parallel world. Devoted to Earth and its people, the Doctor ventures there and, through repeated cycles of reincarnation on Earth and throughout the universe, uses his wits to resolve crises, mediate conflicts among all kinds of life, keep humanity from making mistakes at crucial turning points, and guide it along the path to advancement. This is an imaginative science-fiction story with a touch of magic.
